COPA AMERICA 2024
Overview
The Copa America 2024 is the 48th edition of the premier football competition in South America. Organized by the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), the tournament will be held in Ecuador from June 14 to July 13, 2024. Copa America is the oldest international continental football competition, having started in 1916. It showcases the top national teams in South America and occasionally includes guest teams from other continents.

Participating Teams
The Copa America 2024 will feature 10 CONMEBOL member teams:
- Argentina
- Bolivia
- Brazil
- Chile
- Colombia
- Ecuador (host)
- Paraguay
- Peru
- Uruguay
- Venezuela
Additionally, two guest teams are often invited to participate, making a total of 12 teams. The guest teams for 2024 are yet to be confirmed.
History of Copa America Finals
Copa America has a rich history dating back over a century. Here are some notable historical points:

- Recent Champions:
- 2019: Brazil won the tournament held in Brazil.
- 2021: Argentina won, securing their first major title since 1993.

- Longest Reigning Champion: Argentina has held the title the most consecutive times, with a three-peat from 1945-1947.
- Host Nations: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay have been frequent hosts, each hosting the tournament multiple times.
